My Music Business Plan is about two things: how to start a band, and how to manage your band by creating a business plan for it that is realistic, goal-oriented and, crucially, will help you to achieve your musical ambitions. To do so this blog will examine mistakes I made with my last band and what I intend to do to avoid the same problems in the future.
It is different to the other music blogs out there because it is written by someone who has been unsuccessful, who isn't currently in a band and will therefore look at problems from the point of view of a beginner. Someone who doesn't have a mature mailing list or an established fanbase.
